Michael's Stable, Podcast 112608

In these tough and uncertain times, I want to share a story that reminds me that everything is gonna be okay. This episode from my life happened on an a flight from California to Chicago in trip in the mid-90s (back when air travel was easier). The story "Michael's Stable" was published as a small giftbook by Spirit of Hope Publishing in 2000, but it was first published in Guideposts Magazine in December of 1999 as "Homeward Bound" (abridged/adapted). After the story was in Guideposts, it has been copied and shared by countless thousands on the Internet. The story is the same, but called by many other titles: e.g. Minor Traveling Unattended, Little Traveler, Traveling Alone, etc. Although no one asks for permission, it continues to be sent and even sold on some online greeting card sites. And in some cases, other people have claimed authorship. But I don't lose sleep over it. A wonderful message of love is shared and people the world over are blessed with hope and the promise of home.
