Creative, artistic, sensitive, intelligent, distracted, different, and gay. Many ADDers already "pass for normal" because of their ADD/adhd and related learning disabilities. We ADDers "fake-it-till-we-make-it" or try to "fit-it." But all of that "misfit mania" leaves us stressed and in the stormtrack of life. Yet for some of us, there is the added secret struggle of homosexuality. Genetic research shows that the incidence of gays among ADD genetic families is much higher. So ... there is a reason why many gay people are also very gifted. And why they need the support and understanding of other ADDers.
